What We Do

We focus on delivering positive outcomes, guiding you to raise performance levels, reducing stress, and achieving greater job satisfaction.

A strengths-based organisation

A strengths-based organisation is one that focuses on identifying, developing, and leveraging the inherent strengths and talents of its employees, rather than primarily focusing on their weaknesses or areas for improvement. This approach is rooted in the principles of positive psychology and aims to create a more engaged, productive, and inclusive work environment.

It encompasses all areas of management from recruitment to development and change management. Wrapped around all of this is a commitment to fostering a more inclusive organisation. By focusing on and nurturing the strengths of their employees, strengths-based organisations create a more dynamic, positive, and productive workplace.

Why choose strengths-based development?

Being able to identify, leverage and regularly use our intrinsic strengths has many important benefits for managers, leaders, teams and organisations. When we focus on the natural strengths, we see positive effects and changes within teams, departments and organisations. According to empirical research from Gallup and others, people who use their strengths regularly are:

Are 6x more likely to feel engaged, have more confidence and self-efficacy
Are 3x more likely to say they have an excellent quality of life
Are 3x more effective leaders
Are more productive and innovative
Are more likely to recommend their organisation
Are less likely to quit their jobs

“If you could get all the people in an organization rowing in the same direction, you could dominate any industry, in any market, against any competition, at any time.”

— Patrick Lencioni

This is why we follow this approach and believe in its value of creating more engaged, inclusive and productive teams and organisations.

Let's Start The Journey Together

1. Explore Strengths-Based Approaches

I'm interested in finding out more about positive psychology and a strengths-based approach. I want to understand how focusing on strengths rather than weaknesses can improve performance, engagement, and wellbeing in the workplace.

2. Attend a Discovery Workshop (Earn CPD hours)

Attend a Discovery Workshop and unpack my own strengths while beginning to appreciate others' strengths via the CliftonStrengths® Assessment Tool. This workshop provides practical insights into leveraging my strengths for personal and professional growth.

3. Reflect and Apply Initial Learning

After the Discovery Workshop, I begin applying my strengths in my daily work. I take note of how my natural talents enhance my productivity and interactions with colleagues while also considering how I can support others in recognising their strengths.

4. Join the Management Development Programme (Earn CPD hours)

I see the true value in this approach and the difference it can make to my team, but first, I need to develop my management skills in this approach and gain the right tools, so I join the Management Development Programme.

5. Develop Leadership Skills through the Management Development Programme (Earn CPD hours)

The Management Development Programme is a structured learning experience designed to support managers in embedding a strengths-based approach within their teams. After an exploratory call, I attend the 2-day training course, engage in practical exercises, and access Strengthify's ongoing support network of peers and resources.

6. Organise a Team Discovery Workshop

With my newly acquired knowledge, I organise a Team Discovery Workshop to further the journey for my team. This session helps team members understand their strengths individually and collectively, improving collaboration, trust, and effectiveness.

7. Extend Strengths-Based Learning to Additional Managers and Team Leaders (Earn CPD hours)

If applicable, remaining managers and team leaders within the organisation participate in the Management Development Programme. This ensures that strengths-based principles are embedded at all leadership levels, fostering a unified approach.

8. Implement a Follow-On Team Workshop

With leadership aligned and strengths embedded, I arrange a follow-on Team Workshop to deepen our learning. This workshop focuses on applying strengths to team challenges, improving ways of working, and developing long-term strategies for success.

9. Explore Further Offerings Based on Team Needs

To sustain momentum and drive organisational change, I introduce additional workshops tailored to our needs, such as an Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Workshop, strategic alignment sessions, or other advanced strengths-based initiatives. These help refine our approach, strengthen collaboration, and align strengths with organisational objectives.

10. Spread the Word and Create Impact

Having experienced the benefits of a strengths-based approach, I share insights with others in my organisation, sector, and peers. I contribute to building better workplaces where people can work to their best, feel trusted, included, and valued, and create sustainable positive change.
